Peter Burns | Pastor
Peter is married to Sue & currently serves as our Senior Pastor. After a career in retail banking, Peter studied at Bristol Baptist College before taking on the pastorate of Castle Hill Baptist Church in Warwick.
He and Sue moved to Nailsea in 2018 and really enjoy being part of the family here. They have two daughters; Ruth and Grace, who is married to Tom. Outside of church life Peter is a rugby fan and keen walker and skier.
Heulwen Evans | Youth Worker
Originally from North Wales, Heulwen moved to Nailsea in late 2018 after completing her degree in Youth Work, Communities & Practical Theology with MCYM. Her faith has helped her navigate storms in her life, and is the driving force behind her work with our young people.
When she’s not with her church family, you’ll find her watching the sunset by the sea or catching up on her favourite shows with a nice cup of tea.
Rachel Kent | Children & Families Worker
Rachel is married with two daughters and lives in Nailsea.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, watching a good tennis match, meeting friends and being by the sea.

Stephen Ross | Treasurer
Stephen is married with two daughters. He’s lived in Clevedon for over 25 years and works as a structural engineer. Within the church he’s involved in leading worship and serves as the treasurer. In his spare time Stephen enjoys cycling, walking and spending time with friends and family.
Adam Smith
Adam has lived in Nailsea for over 30 years and currently works for a Private Bank. He enjoys walking, cycling, football and travel. He recommends cycling Land's End to John O'Groats or completing the South West Coast Path walk as great ways to explore our country.
Martin Elford
Martin is married to Mary, with two daughters and 5 grandchildren. He is retired but still finding plenty to keep himself occupied, including as a performing member of Nailsea Musicals and a director of the Nailsea Community Trust. In the church Martin is currently Church Secretary and he helps with Livewires and the Coffee Shop.
Peter Aston
Pete has lived in Nailsea for 15 years. He is married to Claire and has four lively boys. Pete works as a consultant electrical engineer, helping to connect renewable energy schemes to the grid. In his spare time, Pete is writing a fantasy novel and likes to go walking, paddleboarding and running.
