Youth Groups (Yrs 7-13)

NBC is passionate about reaching and serving young people in Nailsea.

We believe that young people are an integral part of church life, and our social and discipleship activities reflect this. Young people are encouraged to explore, develop and use their gifts, and there are plenty of opportunities to do this at NBC. The young people take part in our services, and have opportunities to periodically lead services.

Fast

A free youth club for those in years 7-13

Every Friday night 7.30 - 9.00pm (during term time)
The Centre, 79 Silver Street, Nailsea

An open youth club where you can come and chill out with friends. You can play pool, table tennis, football, air hockey, board games etc. or get involved in craft activities or just chatting in the coffee shop. We have a tuck shop which is open every week, a weekly think slot, and we also run a trip twice a term (bowling, laser quest, ice-skating, etc.)

Vision

A weekly group for those in years 7-13

Sunday morning during the 10.30am service each week.
T
he first Sunday of each month we meet at the Baptist Church coffee shop 10.30am - 12.15pm

(However April and May are out of the ordinary with this; April coffee shop Vision is on the 14th and May coffee shop Vision will be the 19th).

We hang out, play some games together and then have activities and discussions on a topic to do with the Christian faith. Throughout the year, Vision will be given opportunities to lead the rest of the congregation in the service.

Re-Connect is taking a short hiatus while we re-evaluate the structure and logistics of its continuance. You're welcome to attend our other youth activities or get in touch and we can connect you with other youth events in the local area.

Re-Connect is a monthly social connecting young Christians across Nailsea for a time of fun together. From game nights to themed nights, we invite you to come and meet other like-minded young people while enjoying snacks and catching up.

The Mix, Clevedon Youth Church and more!

Throughout the year we attend other youth events and activities that we try and publicise through our other groups.

The Mix: a Christian worship event for church youth groups in and around Bristol; it runs 4 times a year on a Friday night and on those evenings we swap out FAST and attend The Mix. More info can be found at www.themixbristol.co.uk

Clevedon Youth Church: On the 3rd Sunday of the month, 7-8.30pm, we encourage our young people to attend Clevedon Youth Church which is jointly run by Christchurch Clevedon and Clevedon Baptist Church youth groups. They gather together as youth from across Clevedon and surrounding areas to have a time of worship, a short talk, and a time for response and prayer ministry. There is also always a game and snacks!

Encounter: A Christian Youth Event for Nailsea, held at Holy Trinity Church, Nailsea. Be on the lookout for dates for upcoming Encounter events. Next Encounter event will be January 14th at 6.00pm!

Residentials: We also facilitate opportunities for our young people to attend residentials or summer camps curated especially for young people who are at varying stages of faith - even those who don't have one! Get in touch with our youth worker if you'd like to know more about any of these.
